Central Purchasing

Promitea offers the Central Purchasing module, which is an extension of the Sourcing module. The module is suitable for large organizations, which central purchasing will help them to cooperate with major suppliers and to set up favorable purchasing conditions.

Overview of central purchasing in the Promitea system

Collection of requests

Individual partners (subordinate organisations) enter a request into the system. Requests are then pooled and a tender is subsequently issued for a large volume of items.

Binding order

Central buying can continue with the next phase. After the RFQ prices have been established, the partners will confirm the quantity of the requested items in a binding order. The tender manager can continue with the auction.
